Bow Mar South is located on the West edge of Littleton, Colorado (Southwest Denver) near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. As part of the Platte River Basin, Bow Mar South is centered around two private lakes, the Upper and Lower Tule Lakes. These lakes truly define the character of our neighborhood, and form a focal point for the whole community. With just over 200 homes, our neighborhood is large enough to offer plenty of diversity, but small enough to not get lost in the crowd. Our private park features a beach/picnic area, volleyball, lighted tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool and playground.
There are many activities to participate in: Spring Cleanup Day, Summer swim team, Beach concerts, Tennis leagues
Some of the bigger social activities include the annual Holiday party, Adult summer beach party and Labor Day Celebration which includes all day events and a pot luck supper. Year round Holiday theme parties are given for the children and grandchildren: Halloween, Easter Egg hunt, Winter Ice skating, and of course, a visit from Santa at the beach!
The Tule Lakes Club is open to all women homeowners. The club sponsors many additional neighborhood activities. Past activities have included a Spring Luncheon/Fashion show, and various special interest groups such as book club, investment group, cooking club, and out to dinner group.
